Frequently asked questions
The questions that keep coming back — with short answers. For everything else, the guide’s chapters, or an email.
Your players
Do my players need an account or an app?
No, never. Everything that’s theirs to do — sign up, pay, confirm attendance, enter a score, follow the session, make their card — happens through links and QR codes. The only account in the story is yours.
What about the player with no phone?
Nothing blocks: their opponent can enter the score for both, and you can do anything on their behalf from the console — register them, check them in, enter their scores. Self-scoring removes work; it doesn’t impose any.
What language do my players see SetRally in?
French and English, everywhere — public pages, Arena, emails, forms. Everyone sees their browser’s language and can switch in one click. The same league can live in both languages at once.
Scores and standings
A score went in wrong. What do I do?
If the opponent hasn’t confirmed it yet, they refuse it in one tap and the score goes in fresh. If it’s already locked, reopen the match from the console, fix it, lock it again — standings and brackets recompute themselves. Details in chapter 3.
Can I change the scoring format mid-season?
Yes — and you can change it for a single session (the night the gym closes early) without touching the rest of the season. Matches already locked keep the format they were played under.
The money
What does SetRally cost?
Three tiers: Free ($0 — one active event, 2 divisions, 16 players, the full game engine), Club (everything unlimited, team leagues, several admins) and Pro. A one-off tournament pays à la carte — free when its sign-ups run through SetRally. Subscribe and manage from Organization settings → Plan; the 1% commission applies to sign-ups collected online, plus Stripe’s card fees as everywhere. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Where does registration money go?
Straight into your club’s Stripe account — SetRally doesn’t touch it on the way. Receipts and refunds are managed from your Stripe; see chapter 2.
Can I take cash and card in the same league?
Yes. The form charges by card, and you mark cash payments as received in person — both confirm the spot the same way.
In practice
I have an idea for SetRally. Where do I suggest it?
From your dashboard, Ideas & roadmap: suggest it in one sentence, vote for other organizers’ ideas — the most-backed ones steer what comes next. What’s taken on shows up on the public roadmap, status by status and with its horizon (the month), all the way to “shipped”.
Which sports?
SetRally is built for racket sports — badminton first, with formats ready for pickleball, table tennis and their cousins. If it’s played in games with points, it can be scored.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your players, your results, your history remain your property; write to us and we’ll hand them over in an open format.
I’m stuck. Who answers?
First, the Guide button in your console — at the end of the tabs, and inside every settings section: it opens the exact page of this guide that explains the screen you are on. Then contact@setrally.com — a human, in French or English. Write before the session rather than after: five minutes of preparation beat a gym kept waiting.
